    About Delete Pages

When is it useful? Delete Pages removes blank pages, adverts, duplicate scans or private pages from a PDF before you share it.

Good to know: type the page numbers or ranges to remove, such as 2, 5-7. All other pages are kept without any change in quality. You cannot remove every page — at least one must stay.

Example: your bank sends a 12-page statement but the loan portal needs only the pages with transactions. Type 1, 11-12 to remove the cover and the terms pages, check the remaining pages in the preview, and download a shorter PDF that is quicker to upload and easier for the officer to read.

    Tips for Better Results

    Guide

Delete PDF Pages: a complete guide

    Why remove pages

PDFs often include pages you do not want to share: cover pages, adverts, blank backs of scans, duplicate pages, terms and conditions, or private information. Removing them makes the document shorter, smaller and safer to send.

What happens when you delete pages

Type the pages to remove, for example 2, 5-7. All other pages are copied into the new PDF exactly as they were — same quality, same text, same order. At least one page must remain, and your original file is not changed.

    Finding the right page numbers

Use the page numbers shown by your PDF viewer, which always count the first page as 1, not the numbers printed on the pages themselves — those often start later because of covers and contents pages.

Common problems and how to fix them

The wrong page was removed: printed page numbers differed from the real ones; check the viewer's page count and try again from the original. A range error appears: use only numbers, hyphens and commas. You wanted to remove empty pages automatically: Remove Blank Pages finds them for you.

    Good habits

Keep the original PDF, double-check the page list before downloading, and use Redact PDF instead when you need to hide only part of a page.
