    About Extract PDF Pages

When is it useful? Extract PDF Pages saves just the pages you need as a new PDF — for example one certificate from a full set, or one chapter from a book.

Good to know: type the pages to keep, such as 2, 5-7. The selected pages are copied without any loss of quality, and your original PDF stays unchanged.

Example: a college sends all semester mark sheets in one 8-page PDF, and a job form asks only for the final-year results. Type 7-8 to save just those pages as a new PDF, leaving the full file untouched in case you need the other semesters later.

    Tips for Better Results

    • Type pages and ranges such as 2, 5-7.
    • Your original PDF is not changed.
    • To save each page separately, use Split PDF instead.

    Guide

Extract PDF Pages: a complete guide

    Why extract pages

Often you need only part of a document: one certificate from a full set, the signed page of an agreement, one chapter of a book, or the page with your result from a long list. Extracting saves exactly those pages as a new, smaller PDF.

    What happens when you extract

Type the pages to keep, such as 2, 5-7. Those pages are copied into a new PDF in the order you typed them, without any change in quality, and text stays selectable. Your original PDF is not changed.

    Extract, split or delete?

Extract makes one new file from chosen pages. Split PDF makes several files at once, one per page or range. Delete PDF Pages removes pages and keeps the rest. Pick whichever needs the fewest page numbers typed.

Common problems and how to fix them

The wrong pages were saved: use the page numbers from your PDF viewer, not the numbers printed on the pages. “Outside this document”: the PDF has fewer pages than the number you typed. You want each page as a separate file: use Split PDF with “Every page”.

    Good habits

Name the extracted file after what it contains, check it before sending, and keep the complete original document safe.
