When you need extra copies of pages
Teachers need several answer sheets, offices need one form per person, event organisers need multiple ticket pages, and some applications ask for the same declaration to be signed twice. Duplicating pages inside the PDF saves printing the file many times.
How it works
Type the pages to copy, such as 1-3, 5, or leave the box empty to copy every page. Choose how many extra copies of each selected page you want, from 1 to 20. The copies are inserted immediately after each original page, so page 2 is followed by its copies, then page 3, and so on. The total stays within the 500-page limit.
What the copies contain
Copies look exactly like the original pages. Interactive parts — form fields and comments — are left off the copies to avoid fields that change together; the original pages keep them. If every copy needs its own fillable fields, add fields to the copies afterwards with Create Fillable PDF Forms.
Common problems and how to fix them
You wanted copies at the end of the document: use Organize PDF to move them, or Merge PDF with the same file twice. The file became very large: many copies of picture-heavy pages add size — compress with Compress PDF. Page numbers are now wrong: add numbers after duplicating with Add Page Numbers.
Good habits
Duplicate first, then number and print, and check the page count of the result before printing many copies.
