This Privacy Policy explains what information PDFzoa.com (“we”, “us”) uses when you visit the website, use its tools or contact us, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

PDFzoa.com is an independent website run by Venkatesh T, an individual developer based in India. Contact for all privacy questions: pdfzoacontact@gmail.com.

2. Your files

The tools process your files inside your own web browser. Your files and their contents are not uploaded to our server, and we cannot see, store or share them. When you close or reload the page, the files are removed from the page’s memory. Results you download are saved on your device, and only you control them.

3. Code and fonts from other providers

To work, some tools download free open-source code from content-delivery networks (jsDelivr and cdnjs), and the text-recognition (OCR) tool downloads language data files. The website font is loaded from Google Fonts. These requests do not include your files, but like any web request they share your IP address and browser information with that provider.

4. Information we collect

  • Server logs: our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records basic technical information such as IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type, for security and to keep the website working.
  • Your choices: your cookie choice, language and light/dark theme are saved in your own browser (see the Cookie Policy).
  • Emails you send us: if you contact us, we receive your email address, name and message.
  • Analytics and advertising: only if you choose “Accept all” (see section 6).

We do not offer accounts, we do not sell your personal information, and we do not ask for payment details.

5. Why we use information

We use information to run and protect the website, fix problems, remember your settings, answer your messages and, if you agree, to measure traffic and show ads. Where the law requires a reason, we rely on your consent (for analytics and advertising cookies) or on our legitimate interest in running a safe, working website (for server logs and essential settings).

6. Advertising and analytics

Advertising is not active on this website yet. When it is switched on, it will work as described here. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google Analytics is not active on this website at the moment. If enabled, Google Analytics helps us count visits and see which tools are popular.

These Google services load only after you click “Accept all” in the cookie banner. If you choose “Essential only”, they do not load. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.

7. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the website: Hostinger (hosting), Google (Gmail for email, Google Fonts, and AdSense/Analytics if you accept them), and jsDelivr and cdnjs (code delivery). We may also disclose information if required by law.

8. Information in other countries

These providers may process information on servers in other countries. They use their own safeguards to protect it.

9. How long we keep information

Your files are not kept by us at all. Emails are kept in our inbox only as long as needed to handle your message, and you can ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider. Settings saved in your browser stay until you clear your browser data.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to its use, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To withdraw cookie consent, use “Change cookie settings” on the Cookie Policy page. For anything else, email pdfzoacontact@gmail.com. We will reply as soon as we can. You may also complain to the data-protection authority in your country.

11. Children

PDFzoa.com is a general tool website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

12. Security

The website uses HTTPS, and because your files stay on your device they are not exposed to our server. No website can promise perfect security, so do not email us passwords or confidential files.

13. Links to other websites

Links and ads may lead to other websites. Their own privacy policies apply there.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the “Last updated” date.
